It is the firm policy of Glenn's Tire to prohibit overselling by any of our employees. We will never knowingly engage in a sales effort that results in a customer being sold something they don't need.
At the same time, we also firmly believe that it is our responsibility to advise our customers of any condition on their vehicle that might need attention. Many customers depend on us to advise them before their maintenance needs reach a critical point.
We must avoid the extremes of OVERSELLING on the one hand and FAILURE TO WARN on the other hand. Quite often the only difference between the two is the degree of urgency related to a particular service need. That's why our goal is to accurately convey not only what we see as needed, but how soon we feel it's needed.
If at any time you feel that we're not being clear about our recommendation in either of these respects, then we urge you to:
Ask for clarification or further details.
Ask to see your vehicle and have the affected parts or problem
shown to you.
Ask to speak with a Manager or a different sales representative.
Or, if you're still not comfortable with the estimate:
Seek a second opinion about the recommended repairs.
We also ask you to recognize that many mechanical evaluations consist, to some degree, of the opinion of the technician performing the inspection. Opinions will occasionally vary among different technicians and that's why we want you, our customer, to be able to make the most informed final decision possible about how to spend your money.
Please allow us to help you by answering any questions to your complete satisfaction.
Thank you for your confidence; we work hard to earn and to keep it.
